For more than 40 years, KMD Architects has been dedicated to place making – to connecting user with community, form with function, and to developing a sense of place as unique as every project. In fact, KMD's genuine interest in the wants and needs of the people influenced by their architecture is proven through the self-funded research studies and post-occupancy reviews they conduct, a percentage of which is devoted toward pro-bono work in San Francisco. With more than 140 project awards and an international reputation for excellence, KMD continues to design stunning architecture in some of the world's most incredible locations. The company's portfolio of work includes the W Hotel in Mexico City, St. Regis Resort in Puerto Los Cabos, and The Wilshire in Los Angeles, California.
